This sword was inspired by a 10th century war sword that could be used single handed or with two hands for extra powerful blows. Some call it a hand and a half sword, some a bastard sword. This is my vision of that sword but with a subtle fantasy twist. The guard and shallow choils in the blade achieve this fusion of history and fantasy that I really enjoy.
